Northwest Binders meeting Minutes

For August 3^rd, 2006

We had the same 9 adults and 4 kids; with the exception of a new member his name was Lawrence. He brought his 1979 Scout II, Russet in color and no top just roll bar. Thank you for showing an interest.

 

REMEMBER WE ARE MEETING EVERYOTHER MONTH NOW. THE NEXT MEETING WILL BE ON OCTOBER 5^TH IN THE BACK ROOM OF ROUND TABEL PIZZA.

 

Secretary/Treasurer, Sherry Morris

● the Roundup lost approximately $1,000, even with all the cuts we made and all the donated help and items

● the club insurance has been canceled, because it is no longer needed

● when the Post Office Box becomes due it will not be renewed, we haven’t gotten mail there for a long time and all mail we may get in the coming 6 months after closing will be forwarded so we can get word out

 

 

Activities Director, Bruce Howe

● October 26^th Antique Powerland, Brooks Oregon, Truck Show, exhibited this year, International

● September (15) 16 (17) Operation Shore Patrol at Ocean City, Ocean Shores

● OCTOBER 5TH GENERAL MEETING

● October 7^th Railroad Days Parade, Granite Falls

● August 12^th The club has been invited to an open house at 4 Wheel Parts Performance

● October 22nnd Deer Creek Campground Cleanup

● DECEMBER 7^TH GENERAL MEETING AND CHRISTMAS PARTY

 

Web Master, Brion Stone

● the new web site is up and running NWBINDERS.NET check it out

● we paid for the name but never paid for the old site so we were dropped

● we need a Tec Talk to learn how to update the web site on our own, possibly September 9^th or 10^th

 

Vice President, Clint Morris

            ● No news, no Tec Talk class

 

Old Business

● need Roundup Committee by October

● need an outing to Lind to see how desirable it will be to have the Roundup there next year along with Just International’s Binder Bash

● need more information and date about Combine Demo Derby, maybe combine our Roundup and Binder Bash with that to draw more interest

 

 

 

Newsletter, Sherry Morris

● newsletter will be sent out in a few weeks

● will contain large add, NEED NEW OFFICERS, NOMINEES AND VOLUNTEERES NOW OPEN (we have no Officers)

● large add CLUB MEETINGS EVERYOTHER MONTH, starting now

● large add asking for volunteers for ROUNDUP COMMITTEE

 

 

New Business, none

 

Show and Share, we were shown a new aluminum 4-barrel medium rise manifold. Very pretty, you should have been there to see it.
